UPDATE- JOCELYN HAS JUST UPDATED HER SITE...new site, new prices and new packages...same passion!

I had the pleasure of interviewing my friend Jocelyn De Moissac, of DeMo Photography. Jocelyn is beyond talented and on top of that shes a fabulous mother of two!

Jocelyn, whats you style of photography?
A:  I am a Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer. I have a photo journalistic flare to my work. Capturing the connections people have with one another and my desire to watch those emotions come to life through my lens gives me a great sense of fulfillment. Knowing that those moments will never happen again. I've got them documented. Showing a mom her perfect newborn she created or showing a bride the tears of happiness roll off her cheek when dancing with her dad. Telling YOUR story.I guess I could definitely say I LOVE what I do. I'm extremely passionate about what I do and incredibly honored to be a part of this genre.
What is your favorite shoot?
A: I would have to say that I don't have any favorites over the others. I just want to tell your story as it happens. You'll NEVER hear the phrases "now tilt your head and chin" or "say cheese" leave my mouth. I'm not about the formal sit down images. I want to document you and your kids having a flour fight while making pancakes on a sunday morning in your p.j's or holding hands running through mud puddles. This is the everyday simplicity that we all remember and that's what we should be documenting. our life!
If you could photography anyone, who would it be?
A: Oh there are MANY that i'd love to shoot. I'd have to go back in time and have Audrey Hepburn and James Dean in front of my lens. But to be honest I think my favorite shoot to date and would love to shoot again, was last July of my beautiful grandparents for their 60th wedding anniversary. The wrinkles on grandma's hands that tell a million wise stories and my handsome grandpa... the bright spirit behind his kind eyes.
Do you have an all time fave location
A: Oh well this is an easy one. Our beautiful mother nature. She provides for the best sun kissed summer nights and the most romantic specks of "pixie dust" in the winter.
